Based in Belfast, Glenn Waddell is a self-taught photographer, originally from Comber, County Down, Northern Ireland. Since first discovering an innate artistic flair at a young age, Glenn embraced his talents, expanding and honing them later at art college. After graduating with honors in design he spent over ten years in the graphic design and publishing industry, eventually publishing his own magazine.
During this time Glenn's passion for photography was ignited and he found that he was becoming more and more involved in the photography aspect of the business. Moving away from publishing, Glenn decided the time was right to follow his dream and to fully commit himself to photography as his true passion.
These days, Glenn never goes anywhere without his camera and finds inspiration in the vast and colourful palette which makes up the spectacular natural scenery of Northern Ireland - among the most stunning in the world.
Glenn is committed to bringing life's rich tapestry alive through his photography, from the detail of an iridescent dewdrop on a butterwort, to the rolling majesty of the Mourne Mountains - Glenn will be there with his camera, waiting for that minute, that unrepeatable moment, that split second of perfection - ready to capture it.
Glenn and his camera have also travelled the globe extensively and they look forward to sharing their unique view of the world in forth coming collections.
"We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open."
Jawaharlal Nehru (First Prime Minister of India)
